Who we are and what we do

Dear listeners,

Someone once told me the following, "If you find something you love - live it, become a master of it and find a way of incorporating it into your daily life. Maybe even get a career out of it". More importantly, they said something that truly captured my interest. They had said that it would make me happy. Taking these words of advice to heart, me and 4 funky blokes are dedicating this blog to writing about music festivals and concerts. To keep it interesting we will include posts about our own experiences at festivals and keep you up to date with the hottest and latest music festivals all across Australia for all music genres.

For that little bit of extra entertainment, we will be adding some interactive features to some posts including podcasts, link to apps, mixtapes online and shared online playlists. Lucky for you, we won't limit ourselves to any local festivals, or specific genres. We're looking to interest all types of festival goers. Whether you're into hardstyle, Bush doof, country music or pop - we will have something for you. We want to celebrate music everyone enjoys #nodiscrimination. BUT that doesn't mean we're not giving our total and honest opinions #goharshorgohome. So tune in for more on tone-deaf because we've got something for everyone.

What about us though? Who is behind the screen you ask?

This blog as mentioned before is run by 4 great dudes and 1 greater dudette. Our short and sweet introductions have been added for you below.

We begin with Max Voysey. He describes himself as a friendly guy that enjoys going out and chilling with mates! His favourite genres are EDM (electronic dance music) and grime. Max states that he's "been to a lot of festivals in London but have only been to one in Sydney which was last weekend... Listen Out!". Although having been to plenty of music festivals, Max has yet to attend a concert and would like to go to one someday (hopefully that day comes soon). There are a few upcoming festivals that have captured Max's attention including - lost paradise, field day and fomo19 but will probably have to wait and attend some in the summer holidays. Max's favourite artists consist of Fisher, Skepta, Wiley, Lil Skies, Playboy Carti, and XXXTentacion.

Next up we have ... (drumroll please)... Ryan Dragostinov.  Ryan enjoy going out and long walks along the beach (just pulling your strings), but frequently visits Worldbar and Chinese laundry in Sydney. He listens to a lot of bass house, drum and bass, and garage music. Ryan's favourite artists are Joyryde, Fisher, and Ibranovski. Ryan says he has, "been to Field day and listen out festivals, and my goal is to see Joyryde live. I am also going to ultra and field day again next year". We wish Ryan the best of luck in accomplishing these aspirations.

Thirdly, we have Nicolas Nour. Nick mostly enjoys R&B, hip-hop and soul music. His favourite artists are The Weeknd and Migos. Nick aspires to see both artists play live at concerts in Sydney as well as see them live in other countries around the world whilst traveling. Nicolas has, "never been to a concert before but have been to clubs like Marquee, The Argyle, etc".

The last of the four funky men presents us with Jakob Viertel. Jakob has attended multiple concerts and is a frequent festival goer. Unfortunately, we're not too sure of his favourite artists as his interests lay in several genres and it can cause a fair bit of indecisiveness. But that proves beneficial in sharing his knowledgeable input in a lot of different types of music events.

As for me, the name is Maab C the real MC. I don't necessarily have a favourite artist but if I had to choose one for the sake of it, I would definitely go with either The 1975 or The Nationals. Although I don't enjoy limiting myself to certain genres of music and forgetting about all the out there, I mostly enjoy listening to Indie Rock. Personally, I have attended several concerts but never have I been to a music festival. I feel as if that sort event doesn't really interest me BUT always intriguing to hear about. It's exciting to be able to share with you my perspectives on music festivals and concerts and I look forward to doing so.

So stay tuned as we will be back tomorrow, same time, same blog with some more. Lets rap-it-up (HAHA get it). Tone-deaf bids you farewell for the day.
